Don’t Tell The Phoenix Coyotes That Hockey Can’t Work In The Desert! |
In their 9th straight win, Adrian Aucoin, or “the closer” as he is now being called, won yet another shootout for the Phoenix Coyotes today. What is that #5 for the shootout king?? Even Dave Tippett couldn’t hide his smile as he walked from the bench in Dallas. Not even getting into Dallas at 3am today couldn’t keep the team down after an incredible win against the Chicago Blackhawks. In front of a sell out Jobing.com arena crowd nonetheless! What does all of these wins, hard work and tenacity in the face of bad press on all the financial issues mean?
The Phoenix Coyotes are now 1st in the Pacific Division
AND
The Phoenix Coyotes are 2nd in the Western Conference
I could tell all those naysayers “I told you so” but I am going to wait until the playoffs…
Let’s Puck!
As soon as the Sharks lost and I saw an unread message in my inbox - I KNEW it was you! Congratulations, your team is certainly earning its playoff positioning!
I’m a naysayer, and i’m sorry but still not buying it. Wow a sellout crowd, it cost more to watch junior hockey over here than a lower bowl seat in Jobbingarena, Still seems to be a good team maybe the next cup from Canada will be the Jets in Winnipeg next year! What’s the status of the team from phoenix, up here we keep hearing about an almost deal with a group from winnipeg, could start as close as next year….
I’m sorry just out of the coyotes website and i see the ticket price are normal. Not 55$ lower bowl and 25$ upper as advertised. My bad!
It’s ok Cedric..I have been dealing with a lot of those type of comments this season. ‘Overly optimistic’ I have been called in the Canadian press and perhaps I am. Have I mentioned the Coyotes are in the playoffs?
