How To Pay Up On A Hockey Bet

San Jose SharksI’ve been watching the San Jose Sharks for about a decade now.  They’ve always had the reputation of being underachievers in the playoffs, running through the regular season like a freight train then falling apart in the post season.  Lately however, I’ve thought that stereotype was misplaced, especially when the Sharks went to back-to-back Western Conference Finals a few years ago.  However this year, after failing to close out the Los Angeles Kings, I think everyone agrees that the demon is back and something needs to change - something big, something drastic.

But in the mean time I have to pay up.  I bet a Los Angeles Kings-loving co-worker of mine a box of donuts on last night’s game.  And since the Kings won and I don’t welch on a bet, this morning I went out and bought my Kings-loving co-worker his box of donuts.

However there was nothing preventing me from sampling each donut in the box before handing it over.

Go SHARKS!
