Phoenix Coyotes Announce “Coyotes Express”

Phoenix CoyotesWe think we can..we think we can..it’s the little team that could…get fans in the seats! The think tank over at the head office of the Phoenix Coyotes are really putting their heads together with yet ANOTHER promotion to get fans into the West Valley arena. The organization has established a shuttle service which will depart from 2 locations in the East Valley to bring fans to select games.

East Valley residents have long complained that the distance (approximately 30 miles) is the reason more of them won’t go to games. Well, perhaps this new shuttle will silence them. At $30 for a lower level seat PLUS someone else doing the driving, East Valley residents can’t afford not to make more games. Departing 90 minutes prior to faceoff and 20 minutes after the game the hope is to make the games more accessible to those who consider themselves “distance” challenged.

Having discussed this with some East Valley fans, it seems to be an effective move. Some have already purchased their tickets and view it as a positive promotion. Anything that gets more people into the arena, I’m all in favor of.

Let’s Puck!

  1. Wait a minute - San Jose is 45 miles from San Francisco (where I live) and it costs me $50 for an UPPER level ticket! And I have to drive myself!
