Pittsburgh Penguins Miss Chance To Clinch Playoff Spot |
The Florida Panthers just wanted it more. The Penguins lackluster performance certainly made it easier for the Panthers. For the second game in a row, the Penguins stars were unable to get a point on the score sheet. Both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have been held scoreless. Should Pens’ fans start to worry? No, not yet. With only a handful of games left the Penguins still have time to clinch and get back into the Win column. Their next game is in Tampa against the Lightning. Lucky for me, I am going to be there back in the Channelside club (all you can eat/drink, oh yeah!). The Penguins will get another chance to clinch a playoff spot and I would be extremely disappointed if they are unable to do so against this Lightning Squad. Only a few games left in the season and yet the excitement is peaking.
